LUXURY BLOOMS

A technical exercise in rendering skin under controlled light.

The challenge was realism—capturing how light behaves on human skin at different angles and intensities. Shadow placement, highlight falloff, subsurface qualities.
Floral jewelry served a practical purpose: complex organic forms against simplified backgrounds. Petals provide texture variation and test material rendering within the same frame as skin.

Headwraps added different materials silk, cotton, each catching light differently.

Color backgrounds were chosen for contrast ratios. Ochre, olive, navy—tones that push skin forward without competing. The goal was separation and depth.
